Description
"The Walk Home" is a flirtation with pictorial poetry coupled with emotion.
The lone figure carrying the daily supply of water back to her home from the creek area lends a feeling of loneliness but at the same time independence.
Perhaps another title for this piece could be "The Way it Was".
With all our modern conveniences we have lost something of our feeling for the times past. This little painting may help reestablish a bit of that feeling.
Painted on Masonite double gesso primed board with fluid colors using a dryer medium to facilitate glazes over the under painting. Original size is11" X 14".
